Windsor Middle School

It’s time for our annual Jaguar Color Run. It will take place on Thursday, March 16th. This super fun Color Run is a 3K race through and around the middle school campus and is an enrichment extension of our Physical Education program. We would like to see 100% participation from all of our students! Running is not only good for the soul, it is great for your health. The color run is a tradition for Windsor Middle School students and promotes a healthy lifestyle along with having a great time! If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Maddie Cleaver at mcleaver@wusd.org. This event does not work without your support.

Hello WUSD families: I just wanted to check in with all of you about the weather and plans for school tomorrow. We are fortunate here in Windsor to avoid many of the flooding issues that plague other parts of our community, and thus as of now we are planning on holding school tomorrow (1/5) at all WUSD campuses. If that changes or issues arise at any of our campuses we will alert families immediately, but as of now school will carry on as normal tomorrow. There is an accident on Highway 101 which will cause the bus routes to be changed and delayed. We are expecting the delay be roughly 30 minutes, but some routes may be delayed more, especially routes 1 and 3. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Hello families: We are aware of a power outage at Windsor Middle School and Mattie Washburn Elementary this morning. We have been told power will be restored by 10 am, and we are making plans for food service for those students who normally receive breakfast. Please send your children to school as normal. Our incredible WHS Band, Orchestra, JazzBand and Drumline will be performing a POPS concert on the outdoor stage (senior steps) TONIGHT, Tuesday, May 24th. Show time starts at 6pm, but get there early, to grab a spot. Come and enjoy our music ensembles perform, one last time this year! It is open to one and all! Grab a blanket, or some lawn chairs, a spot on the grass and have a relaxing time listening to some great music! Opera tunes, Jazz, a March, a clever TV theme, (Star Wars influenced), also featuring student compositions by Tyler Crowley and Lucas Ericsson. There will be food trucks so you can kick back and enjoy some dinner while watching the show. Please bring your family and friends! Don't forget your hat and sunscreen! We will see you there and may the force be with you!
