Other committees

From time to time, the WUSD Board of Trustees will create subcommittees to assist in management and discussion of particular projects. Currently, the board has authorized two subcommittees: the policy subcommittee and the facilities subcommittee. These committees meet infrequently, but will be announced and agenized when they occur.

In addition, WUSD has a Citizen's Bond Oversight committee, whose work can be found here: Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee

WUSD LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We acknowledge that we gather as the Windsor Unified School District in the Town of Windsor on the ancestral homelands of the Miwok, Pomo, and Wappo tribes that historically have spanned an area from the Pacific Coast to the northern San Francisco Bay Area and to the Lake District in Northern California. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations.  We acknowledge that members of the Windsor Unified School District community have benefitted, and continue to benefit, from the use and occupation of the land.  With this acknowledgment, we welcome a spirit of collaboration and of being guided by the original stewards of this land as we embrace our responsibility to value education, community, and learning opportunities across our diverse cultures.
