VOLUNTEER OVERVIEW
Hello! Here is what you will need to volunteer:
Send us your TB clearance (blood test or skin test or Risk Assessment)
Taking a covid rapid test before you volunteer is appreciated, regardless of your vaccination status.
Per our Charter, we ask for 12 hours of volunteering/participation per family per school year.
It is your responsibility to keep track of the hours on your volunteer card located in the big binder in the volunteer room (43)**. Please stop by between the hours of 7:30am and 4pm Monday – Friday to record them. If you are unable to come during the hours listed above, please email or call for assistance.
Please remember the great variety of activities that count towards this requirement. Examples: Back-to-School nights, parent/teacher conferences, making copies for teachers, Open House, classroom help, prepping class projects at home, attendance at PTA meetings, chaperoning field trips, assisting with class parties, visiting the public library with your child and garden work days, to name a few.
There is almost always something you can help with. Please do not hesitate to ask. Another way to volunteer is to talk to your child's teachers. Even if you can't be in the classroom, there might be something else that you can work on at home.
If you have any questions, please contact our main office at 707-837-7747.
Please remember to always sign in the main office when visiting or volunteering at school. This is for safety purposes. The administration needs to know who is on campus at all times. Thank you!
**This 2022-23 year we will not be collecting your hours. Please stay tuned for more information about next year.
