WUSD is currently hiring for a wide range of positions!
WUSD recruits and selects exceptional employees . We strive to recruit and select highly-qualified administrators, teachers and support staff to meet the needs of our wonderful students and families in the Town of Windsor.
If you haven't worked in a school district before, then some of these titles may not be familiar. Certificated jobs include teachers and other positions requiring a teaching credential. Classified jobs positions such as paraprofessionals, custodial staff, secretarial/administrative staff that do not require a teaching credential or other specialized credential. Both levels of jobs can also have management positions as well, and most of the director and district level jobs are considered classified management positions.

WUSD takes pride in outstanding schools. Recent recognition for our schools include: two Distinguished School Awards, a Golden Bell Award, and a CDE Demonstration Site recognition. Windsor High School earned the highest WASC accreditation term available-a full 6-year term without a revisit. Students’ learning outcomes are impressive and we have earned the respect and support of the local parent community.
Windsor is located in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country. The diverse community enjoys close proximity to the Pacific coastline, Russian River recreational areas, and is only a short drive to San Francisco. Excellent schools, safe environment, small town atmosphere and a beautiful new “downtown” make Windsor the talk of the North Bay area.
