Hello All,
I can't believe that I am writing this email to all of you right now. We could all use a break from disasters for a little while, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen for a bit. Luckily, we have been through this before, and I know we are resilient. We will pull through this together.
We are all receiving Nixle updates, and I wanted to provide you with an update as to what is going on with regard to the school district. With regard to the location of the fires, and the relative danger to the Town of Windsor, the reports that I am receiving are that we are still ok. Zone 2k2 (See map below) has recently been advised that they may be ordered to evacuate in the near future (Zone 2k1 is also under an evacuation warning advisement). Be that as it may, there are no mandatory evacuation orders for that zone as of this moment.
Our teachers still worked hard to provide learning opportunities for our students today, and are planning to do so for the rest of this week. Be that as it may, should things change, and the fires become a greater risk to the Town of Windsor, I will be sure to communicate with you. Please know that I will be actively monitoring the Waldbridge Fire throughout the day, and well into the night.
I know that I am new to Windsor, but it is obvious that we are a tight group. We will get through this together.

No puedo creer que les esté escribiendo este correo electrónico a todos ustedes ahora mismo. A todos nos vendría bien un descanso de los desastres por un tiempo, pero no parece que eso vaya a suceder por un tiempo. Afortunadamente, hemos pasado por esto antes y sé que somos resistentes. Todos estamos recibiendo actualizaciones de Nixle y quería brindarles una actualización de lo que está sucediendo con respecto al distrito escolar. Con respecto a la ubicación de los incendios y el peligro relativo para la ciudad de Windsor, los informes que estoy recibiendo indican que todavía estamos bien. Se ha informado recientemente a la Zona 2k2 (ver mapa a continuación) que se les puede ordenar que evacuen en un futuro cercano (la Zona 2k1 también está bajo una advertencia de evacuación). Sin embargo, no hay órdenes de evacuación obligatorias para esa zona a partir de este momento.
