Dear WUSD Families:
We are aware of reports of an attempted kidnapping of a student this afternoon near Windsor High School in the area of Vintage Greens and Windsor Road. The student escaped without injury. Police are on scene and investigating, and we are in contact with our school resource officer.
As the investigation is ongoing, we will not be releasing further details at this time. Obviously, this is disturbing news, and as soon as we have more information, we will share it. Anyone with any knowledge this incident — especially any residents in the area who may have security footage to share — is encouraged to reach out to the Windsor Police Department.
