Windsor High School Summer School

To Register: Please speak to your Academic Counselor by Friday, June 2, 2023

Windsor High School is excited to provide a summer school program this year from June 5th-June 29th.   This will allow students to get back on track for graduation or fulfill A-G University Entrance Subject requirements. 

WHS is offering three options for summer school. Counselors will determine if your student is eligible and which option and course is needed. You still must fill out the summer school application in order to confirm that you want your student to participate. 

The program options are as follows:

Credit Makeup for meeting graduation requirements

  • For students who received an F grade in a graduation required class.

  • One semester/5 credits.  Students who complete their first course by June 16th may enroll in a second credit make-up course.

  • Course will be taught  “in person” from 8:30 AM- 12:30PM, on the WHS campus.

Validation for A-G university entrance subject requirements

  • For students who received a D or an F grade in one or more A-G subject areas.

  • One semester/5 credits.  Students who complete their first course by June 16th may enroll in a second A-G validation course if needed.

  • Course will be taught “on-line” through the Edgenuity program.

10th Grade PE

  • For rising 9th graders who would like to complete 10th grade PE prior to Fall 2023.

  • Must have passed the 9th grade physical fitness test to be eligible

  • Course will be taught “in person” with a PE teacher from 8:30 AM- 12:30PM, on the WHS campus.

  • Students will earn 10 credits towards the PE graduation requirement.
