Hello Windsor Staff and Families, Thank you all for your continued patience and support this year. The COVID team and testing center will be scaling back over summer. Summer school teachers and students will have access to OTC (antigen) tests upon request. Site office staff at Brooks and WHS will assist you should you need an antigen test. Our comprehensive PCR testing not be open for most of the summer, however, it will resume operations at the WHS testing site on July 5th and will run through July 29th, the last day of summer school. Windsor has joined Niche! Windsor Unified School District has joined Niche, a platform aimed at helping families find schools that will be the best for them. But it’s not just prospective students who can find something of value through Niche, existing families can gain access to cash rewards and high school students can get assistance with their college search (and possible win a scholarship at the same time). Reviews drive Niche, and who better to share their experiences than our WUSD families. Create a review on Niche, and you can be entered to win a monthly $1,000 sweepstakes link. In addition, Niche offers the following resources to high school students: • A monthly $2,000 "No Essay" College Scholarship. Our incredible WHS Band, Orchestra, JazzBand and Drumline will be performing a POPS concert on the outdoor stage (senior steps) TONIGHT, Tuesday, May 24th. Show time starts at 6pm, but get there early, to grab a spot. Come and enjoy our music ensembles perform, one last time this year! It is open to one and all! Grab a blanket, or some lawn chairs, a spot on the grass and have a relaxing time listening to some great music! Opera tunes, Jazz, a March, a clever TV theme, (Star Wars influenced), also featuring student compositions by Tyler Crowley and Lucas Ericsson. There will be food trucks so you can kick back and enjoy some dinner while watching the show. Please bring your family and friends! Don't forget your hat and sunscreen! We will see you there and may the force be with you!
